Flying the flag for France in an international challenge Stateside

A team of Audencia Nantes students were among the four finalists in the 2008 edition of an international strategic management challenge organised by Ohio State University (OSU).

At its outset this fifth edition of the CIBER Case Challenge involved 16 teams of four students from countries such as Canada, France, Mexico and the USA.

The 24-hour competition took place on the Columbus campus of OSU, home to the prestigious Fisher College of Business.

The students had to work on a strategic management case study set by the cosmetics division of US company Limited Brands, one of the main ready-to-wear groups in the States.

After hearing the final presentations of the four top teams, the company directors concerned declared the University of Singapore this year’s winners. 

This challenge is just one of the actions of CIBER (Centers for International Business Education and Research) created by the US Congress in 1988 to improve international understanding.
