Welcome to the 6th CR3+ conference! It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Audencia Business School in Nantes.
The 6th iteration of the CR3+ Conference is happening on 12-13 June at Audencia Business School.
This year, the overall theme is “Navigating the Plural Voices of Corporate Responsibility” and is co-organized with:
CR3+ is a collaborative initiative of four PRME champions: Audencia Business School (France), Hanken School of Economics (Helsinki, Finland), ISAE/FGV (Curitiba, Brazil) and La Trobe University Business School (Melbourne, Australia). We have been working together since 2008, with the aim to exchange ideas, pedagogical processes, curriculum and research in the area of corporative responsibility.
This year conference’s theme is ‘Navigating the plural voices of corporate responsibility’. Corporate Responsibility (CR) is situated at the interface of business and society. Much work has been done on the impact of business on society and the ways in which businesses have sought to reduce their harmful impacts and/or contribute
to society’s wellbeing. But, business and society do not speak with homogeneous voices and nor do the researchers who explore them. A wide range of different actors are relevant in CR, each have different worldviews, values, beliefs and interests, different degrees of influence, and different ways of communicating. This plurality of voices makes it difficult to navigate the path toward CR and has highly relevant implications for teaching and practice.
During this conference, we want to bring you on a journey to explore, debate and research the multiple voices that shape the meaning, practice and theory of corporate responsibility.
We wish you all a wonderful conference. Do not forget to take this opportunity to explore Nantes and its secret places – follow the ‘green line’ of the Voyage à Nantes.
