International MBA - Programme

Audencia’s International MBA focuses on business development. The yearlong, full-time programme starting in September each year aims to enhance personal development and guarantee a well-balanced programme for high-potential professionals from diverse horizons who look forward to learning in a truly international environment.

Faculty
More than 40 international and permanent faculty work closely together to offer MBA students real added value in terms of personal coaching. Business executives are invited to Audencia on a regular basis to share their professional experience and expertise with MBA students.

Methods
Innovative teaching methods help students to work and produce knowledge through group projects and by exchanging ideas. Case studies and business simulation games are widely used.

On average, 3 hours of preparation time is necessary for each class, thus creating an in-class environment where discussion and personal points of view aid knowledge acquisition.

Core courses
12 core-courses of 30 hours each provide a solid foundation in major management fields with an international focus: Accounting, Finance, Law, Marketing, Strategy, etc...

Global responsibility is a core value at Audencia and is present in all courses with the aim to nurture responsible leaders.

Electives & business development focus
Students chose at least four 30 hour elective courses to reinforce their skills in specific fields. Two main fields of knowledge are dealt with in particular;

  • Market development: Global economy, Marketing new products, Management of innovation, Project management, Business planning, Strategic analysis
  • Development support: Supply chain management, Global logistics and distribution, Outsourcing and partnership, Finance and risk management, Venture capital, Mergers and acquisitions, Problem analysis and solving skills

International students may also attend French language courses throughout the year .

Soft skills
Team building, Leadership, Intercultural management, Business ethics, Career development

MBA project
MBA students prepare and write their master thesis with the guidance of a tutor. The project must focus on a subject linked to their career development. A viva is held at the end of September before a jury comprising their tutor, a mentor and the MBA director.
