International meeting of marketing specialists at Audencia
4 May 09Europe’s largest marketing research event comes to Nantes, France

From May 26 to 29, Audencia in France will welcome more than 700 researchers from around the world for Europe’s largest marketing research event – the annual conference of EMAC (European Marketing Academy).
After Athens in 2006, Reykjavik in 2007 and Brighton last year, Nantes hosts the event’s 38th edition on the theme “Marketing and the core disciplines: rediscovering references?”
The conference has attracted delegates from over 40 countries such as Australia, Canada, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden and the other European nations.
EMAC received around 800 research papers of which 420 have been selected for the event. These papers cover 20 areas as diverse as services marketing, new product development, e-marketing, sales management and consumer behaviour.
The conference also includes workshops, round tables and a colloquium which will allow doctoral students to compare notes and to profit from the advice of leading academics
EMAC is an association of marketing professionals with members in almost 60 countries.
Founded in 1900, Audencia Nantes is regularly classed amongst the best management schools in Europe.
