Guest lecturers from University of Limerick share feedback

This year, 166 participants from 35 different countries participated in the intensive 8-week programme delivered in an online format due to COVID-19. Students complete the entire 8-week program or select weeks that fit their needs and interests.

The program was designed for students who want to broaden their knowledge of the European market and management practices. Courses are taught in English by superb and experienced academic staff from across the globe.

Students engaged with each other and their professors digitally from all corners of the globe, and were incredibly happy with their summer experience;

“I really appreciated the professor’s  patience and how clearly he explains the concepts. Amazing class.”

We are happy to share the testimonials from two lecturers from Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick; Ireland, Dr Donal Palcic and Dr Fergal O’Brien.

Audencia and University of Limerick have strong ties and signed a double degree cooperation in 2019, in addition to the regular Erasmus agreement. The agreement allows undergraduate and postgraduate students to obtain degrees from both University of Limerick and Audencia simultaneously.

 "It has been a real pleasure working with the team at Audencia over the last couple of years to deliver high-quality Summer Programmes in a challenging global environment.  The transition to fully online delivery has been seamless and my students have had a very positive experience.  The Audencia structure allows them to attend live online sessions, watch and listen back to recordings, work online in teams to complete assignments and engage very actively in the virtual learning environment.  The flexibility of the programmes and the expert organisation and support from the team at Audencia are particular strengths."

Fergal O’Brien, International Finance lecturer

While nothing can beat being in the beautiful city of Nantes and teaching at Audencia’s Atlantic campus, the experience teaching online on Audencia’s summer programme has still been great and the students I taught were all highly engaged and enjoyed my module. The online resources available on Audencia’s Blackboard platform allow for interactive live online classes that students can review recordings of again later. Students can also interact and share resources in small groups to work on assignments in their own virtual space on the Blackboard system. Faculty and staff at Audencia provide extensive support and organisation to make sure that students have a great international experience on the summer programme despite the fact that it is delivered online.

Donal Palcic, International Economics lecturer

We are already working on Audencia Summer Term, 2022 and hope to welcome all our lecturers and students on campus next year !
