On Tuesday, June 19th, students from different summer term tracks were taught cultural dimensions identified by Hofstede and Project Globe.
All participants were then divided into diverse teams containing members from their various home countries and each team was assigned to research a different country based on cultural data provided. Teams then presented their conclusions on how doing business in each country, especially global sales, might be affected by the dominant culture of that nation.
Having students from around the world comment on their perceptions of the cultural dimensions added significant insight and perspective for everyone in the class.
