Biographie

Emilie BONHOURE BAWACK is an Associate Professor at Audencia Business School. Her work is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach, drawing from history, finance, information technology and systems, economics, and developmental studies. Her recent research covers topics related to financial inclusion, governance, ownership structure and profit sharing over the long run, the business value of information technology, or financial risk management. As part of this interdisciplinary approach, she uses multiple methodological approaches ranging from qualitative- to quantitative-based ones, but also machine-learning techniques to analyze massive datasets. Her work has been published in top-ranked journals such as Business History, Information Technology and People, Information Systems Frontiers, Review of Development Finance, Journal of Cleaner Production, Information Technology for Development, and the Journal of Management History.
