Audencia SciencesCom is launching a new Bachelor’s degree in Communication!

This programme has been designed to prepare students to succeed in a constantly changing world. This Bachelor’s degree enables students to acquire a range of varied and complementary skills to equip them to tackle today’s challenges.

What will this Bachelor’s degree offer you?

  • An in-depth understanding of media and communication: you will explore the history of the media, their impact on society, and how they are evolving.
  • Practical skills: you will learn how to create communication plans, design digital content and organise events.
  • Communication skills: you will develop your ability to speak in public, write effectively and express yourself in English.

Key features of the programme

1 – ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

On completion of this Bachelor’s degree, students will be awarded the Bachelor’s degree, which attests to the quality of the teaching and the recognition of the qualification. Half of the programme’s courses are taught by lecturers and researchers in communication and information sciences, whilst the other half are delivered by highly qualified industry experts.

2 - PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Micro-agencies®: working in an agency-style environment for a client
  • Content production workshops
  • 32 weeks of work placements over 3 years (including 8 weeks abroad)
  • Apprenticeships available from the third year
  • Professional events: guest speakers and conferences providing opportunities to meet industry professionals and start building a network, as an introduction to the world of work.

3 - INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH

During the second year, the focus is on international engagement. Our students undertake an overseas work placement in a destination of their choice and showcase their international experience through a video project.
 

4 - DIVERSITY OF BACKGROUNDS

SciencesCom is open to all sixth-formers and students at post-A-level, post-A-level+2 and post-A-level+3 levels, regardless of their background. This diversity, which is the hallmark of the school’s richness, contributes to the quality of discussions and fosters open-mindedness.

5 – THE MEDIACAMPUS

A unique campus at the heart of the creative district, the Mediacampus is dedicated to communication and the media, bringing together a school, agencies and media organisations to exchange ideas and experiment. It also houses content production studios (TV set, radio studio, etc.) and spaces designed to foster creativity.
