GAIA, the School for Ecological and Social Transition
Gaïa is the first school for ecological and social transition to be attached to a business school. It aims to bring about a virtuous transformation of individuals and organizations by infusing sustainability issues into the heart of all corporate functions and management professions.
Gaïa's creation
Audencia, a pioneering school on major societal issues, has been actively tackling the challenges of sustainability for almost 20 years.
However, in the face of accelerating global challenges such as global warming, the collapse of biodiversity and growing inequalities, everyone can feel helpless in the face of the scale of change needed to build a sustainable and desirable society.
With this in mind, in 2021 Audencia created Gaïa, its own school dedicated to ecological and social transition.
Gaïa's mission
Gaïa's ambition is to help build a more sustainable and desirable world.
To fulfill this mission, Gaïa pulls several levers:
- Supporting Audencia's faculty in integrating socio-ecological issues at the heart of their teaching, whatever the discipline.
- The creation of training and courses dedicated to sustainability issues, whether for initial or continuing education, or tailor-made for companies.
- The development of innovative learning experiences, combining active pedagogy and collaboration between students & professionals.
