Audencia is one of the oldest business schools in Europe with 125 years of history.
Founded in 1900 in Nantes, Audencia takes its name from the fusion of the Latin words "audientia", meaning to listen, and "audacia", meaning audacity.
Audencia is a well-known and recognized institution with a very large network of corporate partners and alumni in France and abroad, from which all students can benefit during and after their training.
In 2004, Audencia Nantes became the first French management school to adhere to the United Nations’ Global Compact. The school then participated in the UN’s definition of its PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education).
