Biography
Claire-Lise Ackermann, HEC (1994), Ph.D. in Marketing (2010), HDR (2022) is Professor of Marketing at Audencia since September 2025. Her first career in the automobile industry informed her subsequent academic career. Since joining academia in the early 2010s, she has researched and published extensively on the subject of consumer behaviour. Her research focuses on how past and future consumption experiences inform consumer behaviour in the present, with a focus on the role of novelty and innovativeness, and sustainable consumption. Recent research has been published in Information & Management, the European Journal of Marketing, and the International Journal of Research in Marketing. She is an associate member of the LEGO (Laboratoire d’Économie et de Gestion de l’Ouest). She is a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Product and Brand Management, and she is an Associate Editor of Recherche et Applications en Marketing.
