Phuong Tra

Tra Tran is an internationally engaged academic with a strong impact-oriented approach to city and regional development. She currently serves as Director of the MSc Public Policy and International Cooperation at Audencia Business School. Tra holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the Sorbonne Business School and a Master’s degree in Applied Organizations from HEC Paris. Her research and professional activities focus on regional development strategies, international cooperation, industrial collaboration, and the advancement of public-private partnerships, with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Industrial Organization, the Journal of Industrial Economics, and the Journal of Business Research.

With her impact-oriented approach, Tra Tran has successfully led projects on industrial cooperation, anti-corruption, international business, and public-private partnerships with major organizations such as the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie, OECD, Erasmus+, CNRS, the French Energy Council, and the City of Paris. Since 10 years, she has served as Director of the Economic Policy Network at AVSE Global, an association of Vietnamese scientists and experts. In this position, she played a central role in provincial development projects in Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Lieu, Ninh Thuan, and Quang Tri. She also contributed to key reforms supporting private sector growth and public administration modernization, bridging global expertise with local development needs.
