The Répertoire national des certifications professionnelles, or RNCP as it is more commonly known, provides constantly updated information on professional diplomas, titles and certificates.
The RNCP title indicates whether a course is recognized by the state. This recognition guarantees that a training course meets all the skills required to facilitate access to employment and professional mobility.

The RNCP allows you to consult, on the France Compétences site, the descriptions of the certifications, such as the activities targeted, the sector of activity, the elements of competence acquired, the access procedures or even the corresponding level of study.
France compétences is committed to ensuring that professional qualifications are relevant to the needs of the economy.
The professional certifications registered with the RNCP (Répertoire National de la Certification Professionnelle) are classified according to their level of qualification. This level is associated with each professional certification registered with the RNCP and is based on grading criteria for the skills required to perform professional activities that can be assessed and validated.
Decree no. 2019-14 of January 8, 2019, therefore defines the height of the new qualification levels for professional certifications.
