MSc in Visual Arts Management

Discover our program MSc in Visual Arts Management

The MSc Visual Arts Management prepares professionals to navigate the full Artist – Market – Museum ecosystem, with a comprehensive understanding of the interactions and collaborations between these three spheres: developing an artistic project, entering and engaging with the market and defining a promotional strategy, fostering dialogue and exchange between markets and museums, and shaping museum policies for exhibitions and collection development. A well-managed artistic career enables artists to cultivate their unique identity, gain recognition and demand in the market, and ultimately, perhaps one day, see their works acquired by museum collections.

The programme covers the full range of skills required, combining European artistic and cultural management (Audencia) and its American perspective (Boston University), with art history and museology (École du Louvre) — three institutions renowned for the quality of their education in arts and culture. It offers a high-end positioning that brings together the complementary strengths of both continents: public support for artistic creation and innovation in Europe, and marketing and fundraising expertise in the United States, within a global approach to the art world.
