CARES : Communauté d’Action et de Recherche sur l’Environnement et les Sociétés
CARES rassemble une soixantaine de membres de la faculté de tous les départements d'Audencia qui s'intéressent aux questions environnementales et sociales dans le domaine de la gestion dans le cadre de leurs recherches et de leur enseignement.
Notre objectif
Reconnaissant que les grands défis sont complexes et dépassent les frontières disciplinaires, CARES vise à développer et à diffuser une expertise diversifiée autour de questions clés incarnées dans les objectifs de développement durable des Nations unies et au-delà. CARES offre un espace pour :
- partager les recherches universitaires les plus récentes du corps enseignant et des chercheurs invités
- stimuler une discussion inclusive, transversale et multidisciplinaire
- explorer des sujets délicats et expérimenter des idées inhabituelles
- accueillir des experts externes de différentes disciplines telles que la psychologie, le droit, la politique, la géographie et au-delà
- capter les signaux faibles sur les défis émergents dans un monde en évolution rapide
- identifier des ensembles de données et des collaborateurs potentiels pour des projets de recherche
- relier la recherche à l'enseignement et à l'impact sociétal plus large.
En tant que citoyens universitaires actifs et engagés, nous nous efforçons de permettre un changement transformateur vers la durabilité et la régénération en remettant en question les paradigmes existants, en explorant des alternatives et en imaginant de nouvelles possibilités. Comme l'indique le rapport 2023 du GIEC sur le changement climatique, « des transitions rapides et profondes dans tous les secteurs et tous les systèmes sont nécessaires pour parvenir à des réductions d'émissions importantes et durables et garantir un avenir viable et durable pour tous ». Bien entendu, cela ne peut se faire qu'en interaction et en collaboration avec d'autres personnes, notamment les étudiants, les communautés locales, les professionnels, les acteurs du changement, les régulateurs et bien d'autres encore.
Individuellement et collectivement, nous nous engageons dans la recherche pour renforcer et améliorer les fondements théoriques et pratiques du développement durable. Pour ce faire, nous interagissons régulièrement avec des universitaires, des praticiens et des experts, mais aussi avec les communautés locales, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de notre institution. Nous développons et mettons en œuvre du matériel pédagogique pour remettre en question et repenser notre programme d'études. Nous participons également à des actions, des mouvements et des réseaux locaux et mondiaux afin de contribuer à un changement sociétal plus large.
Missions
CARES organise régulièrement des activités et des événements tout au long de l'année pour rassembler les chercheurs :
- Les réunions mensuelles explorent les nouveaux sujets, les dernières mises à jour ou les projets en cours des membres
- Les séminaires avec des chercheurs et des experts internes et externes apportent un éclairage sur une série de questions
- Les ateliers offrent la possibilité d'approfondir un sujet particulier
- Les retraites d'écriture permettent aux enseignants de travailler individuellement sur leurs projets de recherche dans un environnement propice.
La série de vidéos réalisée par le Knowledge Hub d'Audencia et CARES aborde des questions sociales et environnementales essentielles. Chacune d'entre elles présente les résultats des recherches et les réflexions des membres de CARES, ainsi que des ressources recommandées.
